📢 A huge shout out to Biggleswade U12 Girls' team, who played their first match on Sunday, at home to Letchworth.
The team, made up of girls from School Years 6 & 7, grew in confidence as the game progressed, supporting eachother well and scoring some excellent tries.
“It was fabulous to see the girls gel so well in a game situation after working on their skills in training," said Biggleswade Women & Girls Lead Teri Taylor. "Parents on the sidelines from both clubs could see just how much the girls were enjoying their rugby, and it was great that some of them were able to stay on afterwards to provide a guard of honour for the women's match.”
Thanks to the Letchworth girls, who were a great team to play against.
👏A massive thank you to our girls’ sponsors TJG Arboricultural Services https://tjgarbservices.co.uk and L.F. Jarvis & Son, and to Ross Taylor for refereeing Sunday's game.
We are always happy to welcome new girls, of any ability/experience. You don't have to have played rugby before to get involved!
