REGISTRATION
- The RFU requires players to be registered as a player with their club annually via the RFU’s Game Management System (GMS)
- For Adult Players this must be done by the individual themselves.
- For U6s to U18s playing in age grade rugby this must be done by parents or guardians. Note, this still applies to upper age Colts.
- Parents need to have their own GMS account to be able to register their child.

GUIDE FOR PARENTS REGISTERING/RE-REGISTERING THEIR CHILD TO PLAY
Step 1
Go to https://gms.rfu.com/GMS/Dashboard/Organisation/457475 to log in to your GMS account (or create one using the Create New Account button if you’re new to the system).
If you already have an account or suspect that you do log in at the top right corner and go to Step 2.
If you have forgotten your password use the Reset password button. Check your inbox and your spam folder for the reset link.*
If you do not have an account click on ‘Create New Account’. Enter your details as a parent or guardian and click ‘next’. If your details are recognised you may have already have had a GMS account set up in the past. Try logging in with your email and use the Reset Password if you’ve forgotten your password.
You should now log in to your profile and go to Step 2.
Step 2
Once you are logged in:
Click on the arrows next to your name to expand your dashboard. If your child is already added go to Step 3.
If not click ‘Add Person’. Then enter the details of the child you want to register (when you complete the date of birth the system automatically puts your child in the correct age group). Complete the rest of the mandatory information boxes that appear and click save at the bottom. You should now see another profile tab next to yours for the child you have added.
Add any additional children in the same way.
Step 3
If your child is already affiliated with the Club, you will see Biggleswade RUFC below their name. Move onto Step 4. If not, click your child’s tab and select ‘Add A Club’. If Biggleswade RUFC does not appear as an option, type Biggleswade into the search box to find and choose our club.
This will update your child’s profile.
Step 4
If your child is already registered from a previous year, click on ‘Renew
Registration’.
If this is your first registration within your child’s profile click on ‘Register to Play’
Complete the Player Registration Details form that appears, submit and your child’s status will be updated to an Active Player once approved by the club Registrar.

U17 playing with seniors
The player must complete a form each season before any activity with over 18s can take place.
This has to be completed for all 17 year olds playing adult rugby whether they are playing in an adult team or just training.
A copy needs to be kept by the club to be with the player at all times and one needs to be returned to safeguarding officer to pass to East Midlands
This must be done before they are cleared to play Adult Rugby. Teams have been disciplined for failing to complete the form.
*If you cannot get into your GMS account or need to change your email, email biggy@biggleswaderugby.co.uk and confirm your email, your name, and who you want to register and the age group they play in.
