After the early rebuttal Biggleswade were soon in the lead with a converted try. The pace of winger Tom Anderson out-paced the defence. Sam Woods converted as he did all afternoon with a 100% record.
Dunstablians struck back with a converted try when the Biggleswade defence was stretched so far, a try was inevitable.
Lacking the bulky Arran Pickering and the experienced Kyle Loan both unavailable Biggleswade only just had the edge over their opposition numbers. So, it was no surprise when a quick penalty led to Biggleswade regaining the lead just before half-time.
The second half was all Biggleswade as they scored another four tries without reply. The three quarters certainly were looking a real menace every time that they got the ball.
Biggleswade spent most of the second period in Dunstablians territory only retreating to face another re-start kick off.
The skipper Jake Devereux was full of running scoring two tries when the defence crumbled after repeated drives from the Biggy pack.
Scrum-half Jack Sharp nursing a twisted ankle was replaced behind the scrum by full-back Quinn Heath. He really relished the chance to show what he can do. He was a real live-wire snapping at the opposite number nine like a hound let off the leash.
Centre Michael Hall completed with the try scorer when he sliced through the tiring defence to score under the posts.
The win puts Biggleswade up to 4th place in the league table. Next up is a trip to Northampton Casuals. They beat Queens easily and Dunstablians comfortably.
Try scorers were Jake Devereux (2), Tom Anderson (2), Dom Nott, Michael Hall. Sam Woods kicked six conversions.
