A great win for the Men’s 1sts at home today, as the side put in a strong performance in their ‘Lucky Stripes’ red alternate kit to beat visitors Leicester Forest 24–17.
Biggy dominated up front and made several powerful breaks to control the contest, building a deserved lead heading into the final stages. A late converted try from Leicester narrowed the margin, but the result was never in doubt.
Plenty of positives to take from the match, including standout performances from two young Colts making their first-team debuts, Joey Green and Oscar Mantle, who impressed Biggy spectators on the mound.
