Our Senior Men are getting ready for rugby with an intra-club game, floodlit friendlies, and a cup match all lined up before their league matches start. Spectators will be warmly welcomed at Langford Road to watch the action - we've missed your friendly faces!
What's coming up:
SAT 28 AUG - INTRA-CLUB MATCH: Players from across the Men's Senior sides will be playing alongside and against eachother in an intra-club game which will give the coaches the chance to look at selection and try out some different player combinations.
FRI 3 SEP - EVENING FRIENDLY GAMES: Double floodlit friendly fixtures against Hitchin - Biggleswade 1st XV play away, and Biggleswade 2nd XV line-up at home. Kick-off: 7pm (tbc)
SAT 18 SEP - CUP QUALIFIER: Biggleswade 1st XV play Harbury away in the Preliminary round of the Midlands Junior vase. Kick-off: 3pm
SAT 18 SEP - AWAY LEAGUE MATCH: Biggleswade 2nd XV kick off their Merit 4 NE league campaign with an away game v St Albans 3rds. Kick-off: 3pm
SAT 18 SEP - HOME LEAGUE MATCH: Biggleswade 3rd XV face Black Horse at home in their first game in the Merit 5 N/E league. Kick-off: 3pm To coincide with this, we’re hosting a Vice Presidents’ lunch (from 1pm) with a main course and cheese and biscuits for just £10. Message Charlotte Tysom on 07305 572509 to book. Returning and new players are always welcome - training is on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 7pm to 8.30pm, so pitch up and get involved. Contact Matt Skirving for more details.
