💙 Smiles all round this afternoon for Biggy's U12 Girls who travelled to Verulamians RFC, in London Colney, for a Pitch Up and Play event.
Biggleswade players teamed up with Letchworth and Royston to form a great combined side, randomly christening themselves the ‘Cheesy Puffs’!
They played three matches against similar 'mix-up' teams, involving girls from Hertfordshire clubs combined with other nearby clubs who have linked up together.
A big shout out to everyone who organised and took part in a very successful day for Girls' rugby, with 18 clubs in total across different age ranges fielding players.
The photos show the Biggy girls and their mix-up side teammates and also include a group shot of all the U12 girls who took part. Great numbers!
Our U12 Girls always welcome new players. They train on Sundays at 10am and Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Come along and make new friends (first four sessions FREE!). Message Teri on 07786 080467 for more details.
A big thank you to Minis & Youth Sponsor Tritax Big Box - proud to support Biggleswade Rugby Club and the positive role it plays within the local community.
