Biggleswade Colts (U17s/U18s) travelled to St Ives on Saturday to compete in a 7s tournament as part of their launch weekend for the new season.

Despite travelling with a small squad of eight, the boys put in some big performances against Peterborough, Rushden & Higham, and Saffron Walden. Although they came second-best in each of the games, the boys gave 100% effort and determination ahead of the league season, which starts this coming weekend.

The team would like to thank David Ralph at the Edmundson Electrical Wholesalers Letchworth Branch for supplying the balls and water bottles, and St Ives RFC for hosting the event.

New players are always welcome, training is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm to 8:30pm.
