The club’s annual touch rugby tournament was once again a great success - made even sweeter this year as it came after the enforced break from rugby due to the pandemic.

Thirteen mixed teams took part, made up of players and coaches from Biggleswade's senior mens, ladies and youth sides, plus friends and family - all of them very happy to be back on a rugby pitch. It was great to see more than 150 people playing every week.

Some excellent touch rugby was played (in all weathers!) over eight Wednesday nights, with Boats and Hoes crowned Champions at the end of the last session this week. Inappropriate Touching were given the Organisers’ Choice Award for Fair Play.

A big thanks to everyone who helped, including Jack Unite for organising, Graham Place for preparing the pitches, team captains for rounding up the troops, and all the players who reffed games.
