That was a proper rollercoaster of a Saturday!
The results didn't go Biggy's way yesterday: The 1sts battled hard but went down 32–15 away at Nuneaton Old Edwardians, while both the Colts and the Vets lost their home friendlies against Peterborough and Queens respectively.
To cap it all, Scotland got the better of England in the Six Nations Championship - which clearly left sporran-sporter Roderick “Jacqueline” Bisset absolutely insufferable in the clubhouse.
Fair play to taxi driver Willy though. A carefully-curated detour when ferrying Rod home to include every available speed bump to “settle his stomach nicely” is the kind of commitment to the England cause we can all appreciate.
