Tony will always be remembered fondly at Biggy, having supported the club for many years and carrying out huge amounts of work on the building and the grounds. He was Chairman of the Association, Groundsman, involved in many building projects and brewery negotiations, and was also a great club character -although he never played, he was elected to the committee as ‘Club Gnome’ and memorably toured in this role.

Rest in peace, Tony. Condolences to his family.

Sam Cox is organising a collection for flowers/donations (depending on Tony's family's wishes). Speak to her behind the bar or call the club number on 01767 312463.

Tony's funeral will take place at 10:30am on Thursday the  12th September at Beeston Methodist Church, followed by an internment at Sandy Cemetery. The family have requested that mourners do not wear black.
