Biggy Colts 1979-80

Sad news, Russell Wilson passed away recently.

I’m sure lots of old boys will remember him. A great guy and  a very aggressive scrum half who played for a long time at Biggy.  RIP Russ

Some memories:

RIP Russ ...played many times alongside him ....he fought his illness until the end ...bit liked how he played ....

Very sad news.
I remember him very well from our time in mostly the 2nds.
Had a very good understanding with his put ins at scrum time

More sad news and another good man for who the final whistle came too soon. RIP Russ

He was a proper tough little 9

For those of you that remember Russell Wilson, his wife has posted the following on Facebook :

Russell’s funeral ceremony will be on March 12, 12:30 at the address:

Sandy Methodist Church
St Neots Road
Sandy Beds
SG19 1BPI

I would be grateful if anyone would like to see him off on his last journey.”

Please pass the message on to anyone that knew him...

Russell can be seen Front row second from the left.....
