Following the introduction of another national lockdown, ALL adult and age grade community rugby training and fixtures must now stop until further notice.
This means the club will remain closed, and all players must return to Stage A on the Return to Community Rugby Roadmap. This means limiting activity to exercising outside with just one other person (whilst maintaining social distancing, following hygiene advice, not sharing ANY equipment, and counting any rugby fitness/conditioning session as the one daily exercise activity allowed outside the home).
Read the full Government advice on what is and isn’t allowed during the national lockdown. The new restrictions become law on Wednesday 6 January, but people should follow them as of now.
The clubhouse and its grounds are closed, athough outdoor exercise (under the Stage A rules as outlined above) permitted on the club’s Sheep Walk grounds as long as you are not travelling outside your local area to get there. Remember: members will have to carry out their own safety checks of the ground before exercising, and we would also politely remind all members that there is strictly no car parking on the Sheep Walk track nor in front of the club car park barrier (which is closed).

It's deeply disappointing to start the year off with such bad news, but we know our rugby family is tough, so please act sensibly, and we will get through this together. Remember, if you are struggling and need help, don't stay silent. Pick up the phone and call a club member - we are all in this together and we will get through this together.
Stay safe, everyone.
