Biggleswade U13s team had a great start to their youth rugby experience, with an impressive win at home to Stevenage U13s at the weekend.

Moving from Minis to Youth is daunting for players and coaches alike, and playing and refereeing on an almost full size pitch is a step up for everyone.


In addition to adapting to the new rules and pitch size, the squad also had to learn other skills, such using a hygiene water bottle and being responsible for changing into smart clothes and a tie for after the match. The boys rose to the challenge both on and off the pitch and did themselves proud.
