Here come the girls! 
Rugby is for everyone — and we’re incredibly proud of all our rugby-playing girls at Biggleswade who get stuck into our wonderful sport every week!
Rugby begins as non-contact tag, with new skills and elements of the game introduced gradually as players move up through the age groups.
In our minis section, girls and boys play together in mixed teams from U6s through to U11s, before moving into single-sex teams as they graduate into the youth section.
Sometimes girls think rugby isn’t for them - but just look at the inspiration from the England women's national rugby union team! They’ve shown exactly how much power, skill and determination girls bring to the game.
