🏉 WIN: BIGGLESWADE 1ST XV v DUNSTABLIANS: Biggleswade 1sts broke their losing streak in style today with a convincing league win at home to Dunstablians.
Biggy went behind early on in the game, but responded well with two quick tries, scoring a third to go in 19-7 ahead at the break. Too often this season Biggy have faded after strong first half performances, but it was a different story in the sunshine today, with three more tries scored in quick succession in the first few minutes of the second half, to the delight of supporters on the Biggy Mound.
A combination of strong scrums, some dominant tackling and real running rugby from the fast backs - especially Cyprus International Aaron Beyzade who tore up the pitch for his hat-trick - proved a winning formula. One more try each apiece before the final whistle saw Biggy seal the victory. Final score: 43-12.

Biggleswade 2nds were away at Sharnbrook in their league cup semi-final, losing 12-36. With the score sitting at 29 - 0 to the home side, Biggy fought hard to get themselves back in the game but Sharnbrook had built up too big a lead.
