Biggleswade Under 16s’ side tour to South Wales - postponed twice due to the pandemic -  finally went ahead at the weekend. The team, which travelled with a slightly smaller squad then first planned, based themselves at Bank Farm Holiday Park right on the Gower coast and took part in some rugby-based games in the sea before travelling to South Gower Rugby Club for their Saturday afternoon tour match.

Biggy found themselves up against a very well-drilled Gower side, which featured several players who are signed to the Ospreys Academy. Although the loss to a much more experienced side was somewhat inevitable, the Biggleswade boys acquitted themselves well, never giving up and having fun, which is what tours are all about.

The side represented themselves and their club brilliantly. Many thanks to South Gower Rugby Club for their hospitality.
