Can you spare a raffle prize for a brilliant cause that will directly help disabled, disenfranchised and disadvantaged children in our local community?We're putting the call out to local businesses, traders, and our fantastic club members to rustle up a raffle prize.
The raffle will be held this Saturday (11 Oct), at our Wooden Spoon children's charity rugby day. We have Men’s (KO 2pm)and Women’s (KO 3pm) rugby matches lined up - all for this fantastic cause.
Wooden Spoon is a charity dedicated to transforming the lives of children and young people through the power of the rugby community.Every penny the charity gets from fundraising is spent in the local community where it's raised. Last year, Wooden Spoon raised and distributed £1,000,700 in grants to support 107 charitable projects helping over 113,000 children and young people living with disabilities, or who are disadvantaged or disenfranchised.
Speak to Matt Lindley at the club; drop off your prize when the club is open tonight, tomorrow, or Friday (evenings); or even bring a prize along on the day.
