Well done Warriors! It was Cantabrigians' turn to host the women's Inner Warrior game this afternoon, with a match mixing up 40 players from Cantabs Rugby Club, March Bears Rugby Club, Cambridge Women's Rugby, Saffron Walden Rugby Club, Hitchin Ladies RFC, St.Ives RUFC, Ely Tigers Ladies, and Biggleswade.
A huge shout out to our brilliant Biggy players (Elsinae, Lucy, Emily, Teri & Alice, sporting St Ives' blue and black striped kit today) who all played on the winning side. Lucy got two tries and Emily scored one, but all made big contributions. Unfortunately Alice, in the thick of the action as always, had to go to hospital with an ankle injury. We hope you have a speedy recovery, Alice.
A special mention to the Biggy Dog Squad, Monty the miniature Schnauzer and Iceman the greyhound, watching from the sidelines.
